According to the number of vaccinated people in Georgia, the government has decided to lift some of the restrictions regarding the Covid situation in this country:

Georgia has administered at least 316,599 doses of COVID vaccines so far and 1 mln doses of vaccine will be delivered in two weeks, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced on June 22, after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council of the government.

Wearing Face Masks in Open Spaces No Longer Mandatory From June 22

From June 22, wearing face masks in open spaces will not be mandatory, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced at a briefing after meeting the Interagency Coordination Council of the government.

However, he added, wearing face masks will still be mandatory on public transport, at bus stops, and in all indoor spaces

Curfew to be Abolished In Georgia from July 1 and more restrictions are about to be lift

Since the end of November, the curfew has been in force in Georgia and Various business sectors have been appealing to the government for several weeks to lift the restriction.

Based on the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council of the Government, restriction on movement at night (the curfew) will be abolished across the country from July 1, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced at a briefing today, June 22.

Municipal Transport in Tbilisi to Serve Passengers as Usual From July 1

Tbilisi City Hall has issued a statement, in compliance with the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, the ban on relocating in the country will be lifted, as a result of which the restriction will be lifted on municipal transport in the capital.

From July 1, Tbilisi Metro and municipal buses will serve passengers as usual. The need to wear a mask while traveling remains valid. This issue will be strictly controlled by the relevant services of the Tbilisi Transport Company in the future.
